The Talking Drum Collective

The Talking Drum Collective realized if we and the supporters of black liberation put one dollar a month towards the betterment of Our Communities we will be able to sustain and grow when necessary. As Marcus Garvey spoke about self-determination, or as Claude Anderson speaks about Black Economics we must appreciate these ideas and turn them into action. Kwame Ture (formerly Stokely Carmichael) said,

"Consciously we must understand [about] organizing every element of our community. That work must begin. That means that people must be willing to give money to an organizer who's willing to spend 24 hours a day organizing…That means that people have to consciously give money for their people. MUST!"¹

So with this is in mind we have created the Dollar ($1) A Month Club. A common asked question is "How can I help?" The Dollar ($1) A Month Club is one way to help. With one dollar a month any person on this planet can help with the improvement of Our Communities.
